Kershaw announced the roll out of their newest blade the Natrix-copper which is based on Kershaw’s brother brand Zero Tolerance and their model 0770.

Kershaw Knives States “Like other Natrixes, this one features a drop-point blade that offers solid performance. But it also offers upgraded D2 blade steel. This high-carbon tool steel is highly wear resistant, tough, and offers excellent edge retention. The stonewashed finish on the blade goes perfectly with its intriguing copper handles. Yes, copper. Since copper is denser than stainless steel, this smaller knife has some heft. And a lot of style, too. You’ll especially like the look once the handles have earned some patina.”

Increased nitrogen in the formula enables 14C28N to provide excellent corrosion resistance and the ability to be hardened to 58–60 Rockwell. Sandvik calls 14C28N the overall highest performing knife steel in the world that still maintains the productivity benefit of being fine-blankable.” […]

[…] Zero Tolerance Knives states “The 0393GLCF’s handle is built of strong, lightweight titanium with Rick’s “working” finish—a no-nonsense finish that hides scuffs and scratches even better than stonewash. By day, the contoured, carbon fiber overlay gives the 0393GLCF a touch of style. But by night, the 0393CF reveals another side of its character. Take it into a darkened room and you’ll see a soft, green glow coming from the carbon fiber. This unique carbon fiber makes it easy to find your knife in the dark—and definitely makes it a conversation piece. […]
