Designed by Jim Bruhns of Bruhns Design, the Saxum showcases a sophisticated expression of modern knife artistry and exceptional mechanical performance. Delivered in two distinctive con gurations, each exempli es Hogue’s commitment to providing an elevated user experience with heirloom-level fit t and fi nish.
The first con guration features Damascus steel with smooth Kingwood inlays and bronze anodized thumb studs. The second combines Hogue’s fi rst-ever incorporation of CPM MagnaMax, alongside lightweight carbon fib ber inserts and blue anodized titanium thumbstuds. The engineers at Hogue worked directly with the inventor of MagnaMax, Dr. Larrin Thomas, on the heat treatment speci cations for this high performance steel in order to con rm strict material quality and maximize its revolutionary edge retention and wear resistance.
