GiantMouse introduces the ACE Atelier in Flat Brass, inspired by the Atelier Bar in Nuremberg. This compact knife features a PVD-coated Elmax blade, brass scales, and a unique patina that develops over time. Limited to 300 pieces, it combines artistry and craftsmanship, representing a significant heritage of the brand.
GiantMouse states “In the quiet corners of the Grand Hotel in Nuremberg, there is a place called the Atelier Bar. Its Art Deco lines and timeless atmosphere served as the sanctuary where the idea for this knife first took shape. We wanted to capture that specific spirit of artistry and substance, translating a place of creativity into a tool you can carry.
While the design shares the DNA of the larger ACE Grand, the Atelier is a more intimate expression of that form. It offers a compact profile that fits naturally in the hand, maintaining the ergonomic flow and refined aesthetics our community has come to rely on.
This particular edition brings a new weight and character to the design. The Elmax blade is treated with a PVD finish, providing a dark, resilient edge that contrasts beautifully with the flat brass scales. Over time, the brass scales and matching brass backspacer will develop a unique patina, reflecting the history of how and where you use it.
We crafted this version with meticulous attention to detail, upholding the high standards that define our studio. Numbered out of only 300, this limited version of the ACE Atelier is more than a simple utility, it is a piece of our history and a tribute to the craftsmanship that started back in Nuremberg.”
