Giantmouse introduces the ACE Bleecker in green canvas, emphasizing its evolution from a sleek titanium design to a more tactile, earthy version. With micarta scales for improved grip and a streamlined liner lock, this knife balances ruggedness and sophistication, celebrating Greenwich Village’s artistic legacy while offering functionality for both field and office use.
Giantmouse state “The Bleecker has always been the definitive “gentleman’s folder”—slim, discreet, and undeniably sophisticated. But for this latest iteration, we’ve traded the polished tech of titanium for something with a bit more soul and a lot more grip.
While the original Bleecker was all about sleek lines and metallic precision, the Green Canvas version brings an earthy, tactile warmth to the design. The micarta scales provide a textured, “lived-in” feel that develops a unique patina over time, echoing the way a favorite wax-canvas jacket or a vintage guitar case ages with use.
To keep the profile as clean as possible, we’ve shifted from a frame lock to a streamlined liner lock. This allows the rich, mossy tones of the micarta to wrap around both sides of the handle, creating a symmetrical, seamless aesthetic that feels as good in the hand as it looks on a desk.
Named after the iconic Bleecker Street, this knife has always been a tribute to the “Green” in Greenwich Village. If the titanium Bleecker was a midnight set at The Bitter End, the Green Canvas version is a crisp morning walk through Washington Square Park.
It’s a nod to the bohemian spirit—the artists, the folk singers, and the beatniks who carried their lives in canvas rucksacks and redefined American culture. It’s rugged enough for the field, refined enough for the office, and carries the legacy of the Village in every stitch of its fiber.”
