Made from hardened steel, it secures the upper receiver in a bench vise, minimizing receiver stress during barrel and muzzle device work. The rod features a cross-hatched grip and a light passivated coating, enhancing durability.

Slides in from the rear of the upper and positively engages the barrel extension Holds the upper securely in a bench vise for torqueing, timing, or removal/installation work of the barrel nut and muzzle devices. Prevents receiver twist and damage during high-torque operations Cross hatched to allow for better grip when using a vise and light passivated coating to help prevent corrosion. We recommend oiling the rod with gun oil when you receive it.”
