VLTOR Weapon Systems’ Special Project complete uppers release

VLTOR Weapon Systems has released a new line of Special Project complete uppers, featuring a 16” mid-length lightweight barrel and a unique two-tone MUR-1S receiver. Each upper includes a 15” Freedom Rail and a specially marked charging handle. They are meticulously crafted and test-fired, with custom packaging and appreciation letters included.

VLTOR Weapon Systems state “The first group of VLTOR Special Projects uppers have been born. 16” mid-length w/ lightweight profile barrel. Two-tone MUR-1S with “Null” receiver body and black deflector. 15” Freedom Rail. VCH-SF-4 Special Projects charging handle (with a very charming Bob Ross happy accident on the markings). Every upper was test fired by Ash Hess (look at that smile!), and comes with a letter from the S.P.D. team to show our profound appreciation. The shipping tubes and stickers were linocut printed while listening to UFO podcasts at 3am.”

FEATURES:

  • VLTOR MUR-1S Upper Receiver, in custom two-tone configuration. Machined from custom 7075 Forging. M4 feedramps. No forward assist. Receiver body is in undyed “Null” hardcoat ano, deflector module is black hardcoat .
  • 15″ MLOK Freedom Rail handguard. Featuring 7 sides of MLOK, and integral anti-rotation wings that wrap around the MUR-1S upper. Anodized in black type 3 hardcoat, with an additional coating of Black KG GunKote applied to the surface.
  • VCH-SF-4 charging handle with Special Projects Division alternate markings
  • VLTOR 16″ barrel with custom lightweight contour. 4150 CMV steel, 5.56mm chamber, 1-7 twist, nitride finish.
  • Mid-Length gas system.
  • VLTOR GB-1S .625″ low-pro set screw gas block.
  • VLTOR VC-T1 compensator.
