Brownells announced their latest offering in the AR-308 platform with their new BRN-7 stripped lower receivers

What makes the BRN-7 stripped lower receiver unique is it’s origins as a Heckler & Koch HK417 forging from Germany.

Brownells states “Brownells started with a raw HK417® forging, and had them machined by Primary Weapons Systems to be as authentic as possible.

These lowers feature the classic contours of the HK417®, found on now other lower receiver.

Selector markings are inspired by HK417® markings, with color filled pictogram markings. The FFL information is machined on the front of the magazine well, where the normal HK417® warning information is placed.

Following machining, these receivers get a matte black Type III anodizing.”
