Toor Knives launches the Draper crossbar lock folding knife

Toor Knives introduces the Draper crossbar lock folding knife, designed for reliability and performance. Featuring a robust Magnacut steel blade and a secure Crossbar Lock mechanism, the Draper ensures safety in use. Its rugged G10 handle and durable components make it ideal for various tasks, emphasizing tactical advantages for users.

Toor Knives states “We are happy to introduce the Draper. Born from years of research and development, and refined through feedback on our Merchant folder, the Draper is a knife that doesn’t just fold, it locks into place with absolute confidence. At its core is the Crossbar Lock mechanism, chosen specifically for its tactical advantage. In real-world applications, where hesitation and equipment failure are not an option, the Draper’s lock ensures the blade never closes or slips until you decide it’s time.

The blade itself is crafted from Magnacut steel, heat-treated to 61–63 HRC for an exceptional balance of toughness, edge retention, and corrosion resistance. At 3.5” in length and 0.156” thick, it’s a working edge that can handle everything from precision cuts to heavy-duty tasks.

The handle is crafted from rugged G10 scales, complemented by a matching backspacer that incorporates jimping and a lanyard hole, inspired by the utility-first design of our XT1. Precision-machined stainless hardware and custom omega springs drive the action, ensuring smooth, repeatable deployment every time.

To finish it all off, the Draper features a hardened steel deep-carry pocket clip, providing discreet and secure placement without the bending issues that plague softer metals. Every element, from the clip to the pivots, was carefully selected to withstand a lifetime of hard use.

This isn’t just another folding knife. This is the Draper, the product of years of obsession, testing, and American manufacturing. The first step in a new era for Toor Knives folders, built for operators, craftsmen, and anyone who demands performance when it matters most.”
