Spartan Blades releases new Spartan-Nemec Folder GFN

Spartan Blades has launched the Spartan-Nemec Folder GFN, designed by Ondřej Němec. This lightweight, 3.5″ knife features a CPM S35VN stainless steel blade with outstanding edge retention and a durable Black PVD finish. Its ergonomic GFN handle provides comfort, and it weighs just 1.9 oz, making it ideal for discreet carry.

Spartan Blades states “The Spartan-Nemec Folder – GFN is built for those who demand a reliable, lightweight knife with no compromise on materials or performance. Designed by Czech knifemaker Ondřej Němec, this folder is offered in 4 distinct colors and reflects clean European design and Spartan Blades’ mission-ready reliability.

Its 3.5” blade is crafted from CPM S35VN stainless steel, offering excellent edge retention, corrosion resistance, and overall toughness. The straight-back profile with a flat grind ensures precise, versatile cutting. A durable Black PVD finish adds a low-reflection surface ideal for discreet use.

The handle is molded from Glass-Filled Nylon (GFN)—strong, lightweight, and resistant to impact and the elements. A slim, ergonomic profile makes for comfortable carry, and at just 1.9 oz, it disappears in the pocket until you need it.

Finished with a deep-carry wire clip, the Nemec rides low and secure for a clean, minimal pocket profile.”
