It limits button travel for safety and can be easily removed. Weighing only .1 oz and made of high-strength nylon plastic, it’s produced in the USA.

The Momentary Only Tailcap Converter (MOT-C) inserts into the Z68 surefire tailcap. The geometry of the tailcap housing limits travel of the button to prevent constant-on activation.
The MOT-C can be removed with either our removal tool or a 5.56/.223 round.”
