The Black Triangle Group introduces a compact Kiridashi Belt Knife designed for concealment without sacrificing functionality. Measuring 5 1/2″ in length, it features a 1 3/4″ blade and a unique hooked pommel for enhanced penetration. Priced at $60, it includes options for additional sheaths and handle enhancements.

Black Triangle Group states “I had two primary objectives with this knife. The first was to make it small enough to conceal, but not so small that functionality is lost. The second objective was to use a blade design not previously in our inventory. I’ve wanted to do a G10 Kiridashi for a while and since we were trying to keep this design as compact as possible, it was an easy choice.

The Kiridashi Belt Knife stands at 5 1/2″ overall length. The handle from pommel to hilt is 3 1/2″ and the pommel is 2″ wide. The blade is 1 3/4″ long.

If you’re wondering whether a small knife such as the Kiridashi can make holes, the answer is yes. In addition to the blade portion of the knife, the hooked pommel acts as an assist for the palm for deeper penetration. We were able to get the Kiridashi deep into our test subject and pull it back out with minimal resistance.

The Kiridashi Belt Knife will come standard with a slimmed-down static line sheath (approximately 1 3/8″ wide). The cost for the standard Kiridashi Belt Knife is $60 with the option to add a second clipped sheath as a $15 add-on for those who want to carry it in the waistband. We wanted to price this product as low as humanly possible for you. The knife will be available with add-on options such as handle tape and Cordura-wrapped sheath.”
