RMJ Tactical just in time for the Christmas holidays has announced the release of the 2024 Little Bird Snowflake.
RMJ Tactical states “We launched first Little Bird product in 2014, the idea behind the project was to offer the consumer a high quality product at a lower price. Once a year was the plan, the last Little Bird was 2018 so it was time for a comeback!
Little Birds are achieved by producing a product that is easier to machine, slightly less detailed and refined, but without sacrificing the tool beyond cosmetics. This is the case with the 2024 Little Bird Snowflakes, they are still made from 80CRV2 tool steel, same heat treat, but the machining is less detailed, and “clean” as you will find on the full-production units. A single full-production Snowflake with a kydex scabbard is $100. The 2024 Little Bird Snowflake Set is comprised of 3 Snowflakes, and a leather pouch for $150.00.
Throwing stars bring back great memories as kids, and that’s the inspiration for the Snowflake. Ryan loved throwing stars as a teenager and wanted to replicate one of his favorites from the 80’s. The Snowflake set includes three stars, 1 of each, Burnt Bronze, Tungsten, and Savage Stainless. The set also includes a leather pouch.
