Steel Industries in their latest release has shown off the new SI-14 nightvision monocular.

Steel Industries state “We wanted our monocular to stand out, so we built it with 7075-T6 aluminum and finished it with a type 3 hard coat for durability. It’s powered by a CR123A battery with a unique reverse polarity feature, allowing you to insert the battery either way, making it easier to use in the dark. For added flexibility, it can be connected to a remote battery pack. It also accepts all standard PVS-14 accessories, such as J Arms, filters, and more.”

  • Manual gain control which allows the end user to adjust the brightness of the unit based on ambient lighting conditions
  • Onboard IR illuminator
  • Waterproof
  • Approximately 50 hours of battery life on a CR123 battery
  • External Power via battery Pack
  • Reverse polarity allowing you to insert the battery positive or negative in
  • 10 year warranty and limited lifetime service
