Exceed Designs Co has recently shown off their latest offering with the new HYZER hatchet that will be available in both a full size and mini sized versions.
Exceed Designs Co states “This mini-hatchet is the FIRST EVER of its kind and packs a punch with an ultra-lightweight titanium CNC’d skeletonized handle and D2 steel replaceable and modular head.
I’ve been working on this for around 2 years and I’m super excited with the results. It’s NOT cheap to make with a crazy amount of machine time to finish out every aspect of this product.”
KEY FEATURES:
- 6AL-4V Grade-5 Titanium Handle
- D2 hatchet head Replacable for around $20-30 after our initial pre-order.
- Hatchet heads will be available in different weights depending on your use case.
- Total weight will vary depending on the hatchet head you have installed but can be as low as 10OZ, or as much as around 15OZ depending on options chosen! (Official specs coming later on weight distribution and balance ratio)
- Micarta and hickory wood handle “scales” will be available later this year!
- Kydex or real USA-MADE Leather sheaths will be available at an additional cost.
- Ultra-Mini hatchet will also be available which is a shortened handle, but will accept all hatchet heads in the HYZER lineup!
- Wrap with paracord for comfort and great for survival.
- Virtually indestructible design with an inset-section for the head allowing the handle to slide into the head with virtually zero play even without screwed then add the security screws for the ultimate secure connection between handle and head.
- Well he offering a variety of axe heads, even a hammer head option possibly as well as replacement hardware and multiple colors offered!
- Choose between dark blasted grey Ti handle, or Jet-Black, etc. we’ve got some very cool options and we’ll be launching the pre-order in about a week with a 2-3 week lead time.
