Outlier Knife Co has recently released a limited edition Night Fighter fixed blade knife “Patriotic Peer Pressure”
Outlier Knife Co states ” It’s that time of the year to get the colors out and to celebrate Liberty and Freedom.
Outlier carried over the tradition of our annual “Liberty or Death” series from Double Star Blades, and took out a page from Benjamin Franklin’s book.
As with past builds we tie it all together with the call from “Article I, Section 8, Clause 15“ of the constitution that is inscribed on the sheaths.
This Night Fighter build takes the cornerstone of our Combat Utility line then blends it with good old fashioned Patriotism and Peer Pressure.
This is the 1st of our (LR) or “Limited Run” builds that will be specific to certain holidays and special events throughout the year.
We blended 3 tightly contrasting colors Black, Olive Drab and Coyote, to bring you a build that represents different elements from our history as a nation.
The color Black in this build represents a look back into our antiquity as a nation when the white “Join or Die” snake is lasered onto the blade it gives that feel of old black and white movies that transport us back to another time.
Coyote represents more current fights for freedom and the theaters that we have fought in more recently over the past 20 years.
Then there is the Olive Drab liner, it’s the base below the Coyote that gives pause to the days of Olive Drab and the big green machine of the World War’s, Korea and Vietnam.
