Emerson knives has recently announced the launch of their Signature Series CQC-17 folder knife which is a hybrid cross between a sheeps foot and straight razor.

Emerson Knives states “f I were to describe the Emerson CQC-17 I would tell you that it is a cross between a sheepsfoot and a straight razor.

That’s a pretty close description. But there are some differences.

The knife has a 3.125 inch blade and an overall length of 7.4 inches and finishes neatly in a pocket friendly 4.3 inch handle in the closed position.

This compact cutter is a slick, efficient design that looks just as good as it cuts – which is superbly.

The graceful arc of the cutting edges is clean, efficient and of course, razor sharp.

I’ve got to say this, “This is a cool pocket knife that I’ve liked more and more as an EDC every time I’ve pulled it out of my pocket to use it.”

Specifications:

  • Overall Length: 7.4 in.
  • Blade Length: 3.125 in.
  • Blade Thickness: .125 in.
  • Hardness: RC 57-59
  • Handle: G-10
  • Blade: 154 CM
  • Finish: Stone Washed
