Taylor Freelance has introduced the HK VP9A1 Snap-On magwell, designed for both the VP9A1F and VP9A1K models. This magwell features a larger, flared design and securely attaches using a retaining hook. It is SWAT tested and compatible with various backstrap sizes. It supports factory and Taylor Freelance magazine extensions.
The VP9A1 has a larger, flared magwell versus the original VP9. That demands a completely new design. Our new mid-size A1 magwell works on both the VP9A1F (full-size) and the VP9A1K (compact). We’ve nicknamed it the “snap on” magwell because if you squeeze it on gently, the retaining hook will “snap” over the crosspin and stay locked in place. Technically you can “snap” it off as well, but it takes a lot more effort and you’re likely going to scratch the frame – much better to just push the crosspin out.
SWAT Tested, Agency Issue: One of our testers is a firearm instructor for Bellevue, P.D. and our parts have been “on patrol” with him for some time. In fact, a good chunk of this first batch is earmarked for Bellevue PD SWAT! They’re taking the first portion of the run for issue to their troopers now.
