Wilson Combat celebrates America’s 250th with limited edition 1911s

Wilson Combat commemorates America’s 250th anniversary with limited edition 1911s, crafted from domestically sourced stainless steel. Each features exclusive engraving, with the first 25 hand-engraved by renowned artisan Wayne D’Angelo. The series includes high-end components and a unique serialized frame, with orders closing on December 31, 2026.

Wilson Combat has spent decades building the finest examples of this iconic platform, and the America 250th is the culmination of both legacies. Built on a full custom Wilson Combat 1911 platform in all domestically sourced stainless steel, each America 250th begins as a top-tier 1911 before receiving engraving in a pattern created exclusively for this commemoration of 250 years of freedom. Serials 1–25 leave Wilson Combat for Wayne D’Angelo’s bench, where the slide and frame are hand-engraved by one of the most respected names in the craft. Serials beyond 26 will carry the same design rendered in-house via laser engraving, matching the style and detail of the hand-engraved originals.

The foundation is everything you’d expect from Wilson Combat at its best: 5″ barrel with fluted chamber, magwell, ambi safety, carry beavertail, carry cuts and checkered rear of slide. Sides are left intentionally bare, with no model markings or distractions, giving the engraving the presence it deserves. A white gold bead front sight, glass bead rounds, and deluxe satin polished flats complete this special tribute.

Each America 250th ships with a unique serialized frame. Orders close December 31, 2026. When the books close, they close for good.
