Sons of Liberty Gun Works (SOLGW) has launched a limited run of MK1 rifles featuring Frog Skin camouflage, celebrating the U.S. Marine Corps’ 250th birthday. The rifles, inspired by WWII-era designs, come in Jungle and Beach variants. Pre-orders are available, with shipments planned for early December.
Sons of Libert Gun Works states “Sons of Liberty Gun Works (SOLGW) today announced a limited-production run of its MK1 rifles finished in historically inspired Frog Skin camouflage to honor the U.S. Marine Corps’ 250th birthday. The run recreates the WWII-era Frog Skin patterns used in the Pacific Campaign and will be offered in both Jungle and Beach variants.
“A big part of our company is comprised of former Marines, Marine Reservists, or people who’ve worked directly alongside them. In celebration of the 250th birthday of the United States Marine Corp, our Devil Dogs wanted to do a fun project and we couldn’t be more thrilled with how our Cerakote shop did on this project.” said Nate Horvath, CEO and former Marine. “These limited-edition rifles are available for pre-order on our website or via your favorite SOLGW dealer. We will be shipping these by the first week of December, or sooner.”
