
TRIARC Systems introduces the G-MOD edition Retro AR-15 rifle, inspired by the Gordy Rifle used in the Battle of Mogadishu. This rifle merges classic features with modern enhancements, including a reflex suppressor and NP3 coatings for improved efficiency. It’s designed for sub-MOA accuracy with match-grade ammunition.
TRIAR Systems state “The G-MOD Rifle is inspired by the Iconic Gordy Rifle which was a highly custom Short Barrel Rifle used by Master Sargent Garry Gordon durning the Battle of Mogadishu in 1993, It was an early example of the Modern fighting rifle. Our inspired G-MOD rifle combines both features of the original spec that made it effecvtive and enhanced TRIARC features to increase efficiency.
A reflex suppressor, also known as an “Over the Barrel” (OTB) suppressor, is a type of suppressor that mounts over a portion of the barrel rather than just the end of the muzzle. This design allows for more volume for gas expansion, potentially leading to greater sound suppression, without significantly increasing the overall length of the firearm”
