Magpul debuts new M-LOK accessories designed to help with recoil mitigation

Magpul has introduced innovative M-LOK accessories aimed at enhancing recoil management. The M-LOK Thumb Shelf promotes better muzzle control; the M-LOK SVG™ offers a compact grip with improved texture; and the M-LOK Index Stop provides a reference point for finger placement, improving safety and comfort during use.

M-LOK® Thumb Shelf
The ambidextrous M-LOK Thumb Shelf increases muzzle control and support-hand consistency to get back on target faster, improving follow-up shot speed. The shelf features a ribbed, curved top for improved thumb contact during recoil, resulting in better muzzle control, and provides assistance when braced against a barrier. Designed for octagonal M-LOK handguards or forends, and molded from Magpul’s proprietary polymer.

M-LOK® SVG™ – Short Vertical Grip
The M-LOK SVG™ (Short Vertical Grip) is a lightweight, compact, ambidextrous grip that attaches to any M-LOK-compatible, octagonal aluminum handguard or forend. The side panels feature Trapezoidal Surface Projections (TSP) texture for positive control while the front and rear straps are serrated for additional grip. Molded from Magpul’s proprietary polymer.

M-LOK® Index Stop
The minimalist ½-slot M-LOK Index Stop is a small hand stop primarily for the index finger as a reference point to maximize protection, comfort, and grip for the support hand by decreasing the risk of muzzling the support hand. The Index Stop has a ridged texture on the front and rear surfaces, and is built to the same dimensions (⅛ʺ protrusion from the rail surface) as Magpul Type 2 M-LOK Rail Covers for seamless integration. Molded from Magpul’s proprietary polymer.
