Made from durable steel with a corrosion-resistant finish, the mount includes a damper to reduce vibration and minimize gaps. Production takes place in Arizona. Apex Tactical states “This Apex Optic Mount is designed to securely mount ACRO Footprint optics to the GLOCK® Gen 6 Optic Ready slides. This Mount is machined from a billet of steel and black PVD finished for enhanced corrosion resistance. The mount and screws are manufactured by Apex in the free state of Arizona.
The Damper is placed in the cavity under the front of the mount to dampen vibration and close the light gap between the mount locking key and the slide.”
