Onward Research introduces the EVG Enhanced VCOG Riser, addressing eye relief issues by moving the optic 1.40” forward and increasing the height to 1.70”. Constructed from rugged 7075 Aluminum, the mount features spring-loaded clamps and recoil lugs for secure attachment. Compatible with TRIJICON® VCOG, it enhances user experience in military conditions.
Onward Research states “With our time using the VCOG we have noticed there was an issue with the mounts. Much like the ACOG there is an eye relief problem but in the opposite direction. We elected to push the optic forward 1.40” and raise the optic to the very popular height of 1.70” from centerline. The perfect sight acquisition is made much easier with our new scope position. 7075 Aluminum was used to ensure a rugged mounting platform for your VCOG. Two recoil lugs were added for a solid lock up with any picatinny top rails. The clamps are spring loaded for ease of installation and the clamp fasteners have been staked so you will never lose your clamps in the field. As the military is adopting the VCOG as the new standard issue optic, we wanted to create a mount that would enhance your experiences with the scope but also hold up to the adverse conditions that the optic is subjected to, by our service members, every day.”
