Nocturne Industries has launched the Alpha Night Vision Mount, the lightest night vision mount at 80 grams. Featuring a patent-pending design that minimizes wobble and accidental deployment, it is crafted from 7075-T6 aluminum and 17-4 PH stainless steel. It offers adjustable tilt, height, and a reliable breakaway feature for safety.

Coming in at 80 grams, it is the lightest and lowest stowing night vision mount available to date for the common “dovetail” shoe interface. This mount is patent pending with a novel design that incorporates a ball detent force to overcome mechanism while also locking at the stowed and deployed positions. This is purposeful and is designed to defeat unwanted wobble in the mount commonly seen in other night vision mounts while also decreasing the chance of accidental deployment. Completely designed, machined, and assembled in the USA, and built to last with high strength 7075-T6 Aluminum, and 17-4 PH Stainless steel. This mount has an optional factory variant that supports a powered shoe for Nocturn Industries devices that are equipped with this option.”
