Davidson’s has introduced the exclusive Bergara B-14 FSP Hunter rifle in stainless steel, featuring a fluted barrel, receiver, and bolt for improved performance in tough conditions. This rifle offers enhanced corrosion resistance, adjustable triggers, and is compatible with various components. Chamberings available include .308 Win, 7mm PRC, and .300 Win Mag.
Davidson’s states “Davidson’s, one of the nation’s top firearms, ammunition, optics, cutlery, and accessories wholesalers, has collaborated with Bergara to produce the first complete Bergara rifle with a stainless-steel barreled action available in the USA.
The exclusive B-14 FSP (Fluted Special Purpose) Hunter Stainless has a stainless-steel barrel, receiver, and bolt. The barrel and bolt body are both fluted, and the barrel is threaded for suppressors or muzzle devices. The spiral fluted bolt body provides radial flutes that allow grime and debris a void to settle during hard use in the field. These flutes will ensure shooters have the smoothest cycling bolt in the field even in filthy conditions. Bergara B-14 rifles are based on Remington 700 style actions; therefore, customers have the ability to use a wide range of components that are available in the market.
The Bergara Performance Trigger comes installed from the factory with externally adjustable trigger pull weight via the use of an Allen key which is accessed through the trigger guard in front of the trigger shoe. Bergara is well known for their extremely crisp and reliable Performance triggers.
The stainless steel offers increased corrosion resistance, decreased throat erosion and pitting from fouling, as well as increased longevity over Bergara’s normal 4140 carbon steel. The internals have increased protection via the stainless and a Tactical Gray Cerakote® finish protects the outer surfaces. Bergara does offer barreled actions in stainless steel, however the retail cost of those barreled actions is significantly more than this entire rifle.
The glass fiber reinforced polymer stock has a custom color and pattern that is exclusive to these rifles amongst the Bergara product offerings.”
