Bergara USA has announces support for the 7mm PRC cartridge in some rifle models.
Bergara USA states “Bergara® is excited to announce that the 7mm PRC caliber is available immediately and shipping starts today in select Bergara models.
This new caliber offering is for all Bergara Wilderness Series models, including the popular carbon barrel models, and the highly sought after B-14 Squared Crest.
Bergara takes pride in listening to their core customers, as they realized the demand for this popular new caliber.
When Hornady® released this caliber in 2023, Bergara could see that Hornady was filling the niche between the 6.5 PRC and the .300 PRC.
The 7mm PRC is designed to use modern propellants, be temperature stable, and have magnum speeds with great accuracy.
All while maintaining moderate recoil and reasonable barrel life compared to other 7mm magnums.
This caliber consistently boasts velocities over 3000 fps and uses 21st Century low drag bullets that do not require to be seated deeply into the case.
