Keltec debuts the new KS7™ GEN2 shotgun

Keltec has introduced the KS7™ GEN2 shotgun, enhancing the original model with upgrades for better ergonomics, customization, and durability. Weighing 6.8 pounds, it features a 5-slot Picatinny rail and improved pump-action, making it suitable for both home defense and range use. MSRP is $639.

Keltec states “KelTec®, known worldwide for innovative firearms, introduces the KS7™ GEN2 single tube magazine shotgun.

As the next evolution of the popular KS7 shotgun, it features key upgrades that improve ergonomics and increase flexibility and owner customization. All while maintaining the original KS7 core benefits of light weight, maneuverability in confined spaces, ambidextrous downward shell ejection, and compact firepower.

In fact, weighing only 6.8 pounds unloaded, the KS7 GEN2 remains one of the lightest 12-gauge bullpup shotguns available, without sacrificing reliable performance.

Among the KS7 GEN2 upgrades are an integrated 5-slot Picatinny-style accessory rail on the underside for vertical grips, lights and other accessories. A flush-fit cap maintains a seamless look when not in use. Other innovations include smoother pump-action and enhanced durability.

All of which make the KS7 GEN2 shotgun ideal for home defense or range use, for seasoned shooters and first-time owners alike.

“KelTec is driven by the pursuit of practical innovation,” said Matt Stanek, Marketing Manager. “With the KS7 GEN2, we’ve refined a proven shotgun into a more versatile and capable platform without losing the simplicity that made it so popular.”
