Foxtrot Mike Products has launched a new line of Suppressor-Optimized 16-inch barreled uppers aimed at rifle builders. Priced at $249, the upper is designed for suppressed shooting, featuring a specially tuned gas port and heavy-profile barrel for improved accuracy and reduced recoil. It does not include a bolt carrier group or charging handle.

FM Products designed this barreled upper expressly for that use-case: a rifle-length gas system on a 16″ heavy-profile barrel with a suppressor-tuned gas port that delivers a softer-shooting, cleaner, and more accurate experience—and puts less load on the AR platform than a typical over-gassed, direct-impingement setup run with a can.
