Strike Industries releases new Strike Locking Block Pin for Timney Alpha Trigger in Glock Gen3 and Gen4

Strike Industries has introduced the Strike Locking Block Pin for Timney Alpha Triggers compatible with Glock Gen3 and Gen4 models. This upgrade ensures the trigger return spring remains securely in place, enhancing consistency and reducing wear during use. The design improves performance by preventing spring crossover and binding for a smoother shooting experience.

Strike Industries state “When using Timney Alpha Triggers in Glocks, there is a trigger return spring that the mechanism relies on in order to reset the trigger. Unlike the OEM trigger housing, Timney’s system relocates the trigger reset action towards the front of the frame rather than in the rear. Normally, this return spring rests on the locking block, but it can move around as the return spring is completely unrestrained.

With the Strike Glock Locking Pin upgrade, there are two grooves which are used to retain both the trigger return spring and slide lock lever spring in a vertical position. Without this Pin it’s very easy for these springs to move around and to even cross over each other.

The grooves remove that possibility entirely — it also reduces spring binding and wear to the safety shoe creating a more consistent and smoother shooting experience with each press of the trigger — further improving upon the competitive nature of Timney Alpha triggers for Glocks.”
