Matador Arms enters next generation of the MAT-9 with Roller Delayed Operating System

Matador Arms introduces a new generation of the MAT-9 featuring a Roller Delayed Operating System. This innovative upper receiver reduces recoil and weight, enhancing reliability and portability for home defense and law enforcement. It boasts a tool-free take-down system, compatibility with various lower receivers, and a durable, slim design.

Matador Arms state “The MAT9 is officially a roller delayed upper receiver. The new generations overall reduction in recoil and weight makes it a perfect match for home defense, law  enforcement, and hobbyist alike.

The Roller Delayed system designed for our MAT-9 upper reduces recoil, lightens the upper and increases reliability. The lack of a need for buffer tubes increases agility and portability in compact spaces. The flexibility of the non-reciprocating and reversible charging handle makes the MAT-9 the perfect platform for any shooter.

The MAT-9 upper is a roller delayed buffer-less, side charging, non-reciprocating and features Matador Arms® patent-pending EZTS™ “Easy Take-down System” with no tools required to break down the upper for maintenance and cleaning. The 9mm upper is machined for maximum weight reduction, slim profile, and compatibility with bolt catches and lower receivers. The upper is also built with a tapered multi-material 4-piece trunnion system to maintain mechanical accuracy and durability.”
