Magpul has released the TMAG 20 AR/M4 GEN M3™, a 20-round magazine designed for compact use with 5.56 NATO or .223 Rem. cartridges. It features a translucent body for round identification, enhanced grip through ribbed straps, and reliable internal mechanics. Compatible with existing Magpul floor-plate accessories, it offers improved mobility for shooters.

Magpul states “The original 30-round TMAG® changed the magazine game for a variety of reasons, and now we’re releasing a 20-round version to provide shooters with a more compact form factor. This makes it perfect for use with bipods, or for those who want to be more mobile using a smaller, more discreet weapon system that fires 5.56 NATO or .223 Rem. cartridges. Check out the details below for all the info on our newest TMAG.

We shrunk the TMAG to create a more compact translucent magazine that still gives the same round-identification ability with minimal bulk and weight. It features front and rear ribbed straps for better purchase during magazine changes in all conditions. Like our other GEN 3 family of magazines, the TMAG 20 incorporates similar internal geometry, our standard four-way, anti-tilt follower that’s paired with a durable stainless-steel spring for unmatched reliability, a paint-pen dot matrix for custom markings as necessary, and a low-profile floor plate that’s compatible with PMAG® AR/M4 GEN M3 floor-plate accessories.”
