Beretta has introduced a 20-gauge version of its Ultraleggero Kick-Off over-and-under shotgun, designed for upland hunters. Featuring a lightweight steel receiver, aluminum forend iron, and the Kick-Off Plus recoil-reduction system, this shotgun offers enhanced mobility and comfort while maintaining performance. It is available for $3,749.
Beretta expands its Ultraleggero Kick-Off over-and-under shotgun lineup with the addition of a new 20-gauge configuration, bringing the model’s combination of lightweight handling, refined performance and recoil reduction to hunters who prefer the versatility and feel of a smaller gauge.
Designed for upland hunters who spend long days in the field, the Ultraleggero was engineered around a lightweight steel receiver that maintains the strength and reliability expected from a Beretta shotgun while reducing unnecessary weight. Its skeletonized receiver, aluminum forend iron system, lightweight trigger guard, increased stock cavity and Steelium Optima-Bore® HP barrels work together to create a fast-handling shotgun built to move naturally in the field. The Ultraleggero Kick-Off adds Beretta’s Kick-Off Plus recoil-reduction system, which uses elastomer shock absorbers and return springs to reduce the effects of recoil and muzzle rise while helping maintain stability between shots. Beretta rates the Kick-Off Plus system for up to 40% recoil reduction, providing greater comfort and control without compromising the Ultraleggero’s lightweight design.
The new 20-gauge configuration retains the same features and design that define the existing Ultraleggero Kick-Off, including a 3-inch chamber, Steelium Optima-Bore® HP barrels and Extralight® recoil pad. The 3-inch chamber is designed to accommodate a broad range of hunting loads, including lead, steel and high-performance steel shot.
