Boson Systems has launched the Proton Lite-O monocular, compatible with the Proton Optical Pod. Made from 7075-T6 aluminum, it is lightweight at 79g and designed for durability. The complete device weighs 243g with RPO 3.0 lenses and offers at least 40 hours of battery life using a single CR123A battery.
Boson Systems state “Introducing the Proton Lite-O monocular system. Fully compatible with the Proton Optical Pod. Crafted from a single block of 7075-T6 aluminum, the monocular module features a simple, rugged design built to withstand the toughest environments. With a housing weight of 79g, a complete device can reach a minimum weight of 243g with RPO 3.0 lenses, battery included. Powered by a single CR123A, which allows for no less than 40 hours of battery life.”
