Marlin has announced the reintroduction of their Model 1894 lever action trapper series in .357 magnum.

Marlin states “We are proud to reintroduce the Marlin Trapper Series Model 1894 chambered in .357 Mag. Joining other Ruger-made Trapper Series rifles, the Model 1894 chambered in .357 Mag. is quick-handling, soft shooting, and ideal for small game, plinking and home protection. The rifle features a 16.1″, cold hammer-forged barrel with a 1:16″ twist. In addition to .357 Magnum, the rifle also accepts .38 Special.”

KEY FEATURES:

  • Receiver, lever and trigger guard plate are CNC machined from stainless steel forgings.
  • Barrel is made of stainless steel and is cold hammer-forged which results in ultra-precise rifling that provides exceptional accuracy and longevity.
  • Threaded barrel, with factory-installed thread protector, has a 1/2″-28 pattern to accommodate a muzzle brake or other barrel accessories.
  • Stainless steel components have a matte, non-shiny finish.
  • Adjustable Skinner Sights™ receiver-mounted peep sight is perfect for rapid target acquisition.
  • Tubular magazine features a loading gate located on the receiver and will accept 8 rounds of .357 Magnum or 9 rounds of .38 Special ammunition.
  • Soft rubber buttpad effectively absorbs recoil.
  • Positive, push-button, cross-bolt manual safety and traditional half-cock hammer.
  • Reliably feeds a wide range of .357 Magnum and .38 Special factory ammunition.
