Meprolight has introduced their latest in sighting solutions with the new Mepro FABS- Folding Adjustable Backup Sights.

When red-dot optics were first introduced, they were set 1.5” over bore. With soldiers and law enforcement officers wearing body armor and helmets, the 1.5” height of the optic, made a solid cheek weld difficult.
So, optics with a 1.93” over bore were introduced to solve the problem. Meprolight’s engineers designed the FABS to co-witness with both heights, making it easier for those running the taller optic to have a better firing fit.
The all-metal Mepro FABS are tritium-enhanced, self-illuminated front and rear sights that flip into place in case the primary optics go down.”
