Strike Industries has shown support for the popular KP-9 with the new Strike Picatinny Adapter Rear Plate.
Strike Industries state “This is the Strike Picatinny Adapter Rear Plate for KP9. It’s a quick and easy solution that includes rear-facing 1913 Picatinny rail slots to allow use of more modern fixed stocks and modular stocks, folders or braces/stabilizers.
To install this rear plate adapter, take out the hinge pin at the rear of the KP-9’s receiver and unlock it to remove the original rear plate.
Simply pop in the Strike Picatinny Adapter onto the rear of the KP-9 receiver and secure it with the original hinge pin.
The installation is very straightforward and only takes a matter of moments to do.
What makes this adapter unique is that it’s the only one on the market that includes an integrated QD socket for your favorite sling.
This helps make the KP-9 an even more viable platform for a wider range of mission sets so you aren’t relying on the stock/stabilizer’s QD point and aren’t forced to use a single point sling either.
The Strike Picatinny Adapter Rear Plate for the KP-9 is not stationary. Using the 9 o’clock button on the rear of the receiver, you can still fold a fixed stock to the left.
