The trigger is ArmorLube™ Duplex DLC finished. This matte black finish is unlike any other DLC coating on the market regarding corrosion, abrasion, and wear resistance.
The Apex Tank Tread Hammer is inspired by the classic 1911 Commander Hammer with an Apex twist on the cocking serrations.
This hammer integrates an over-cocking limit pad to ensure the loop does not contact the inside of the beavertail of the OPS Variant while cycling.
The hammer hook geometry is uniquely matched to our Hi-Power Balanced Sear.
The Hi-Power Balanced Sear’s nose geometry is engineered to match our hammer hook profile precisely.
This eliminates the need to stone or alter engagement surfaces and will yield a clean, crisp trigger break when using our Hammer.
The Sear Lever Spring replaces the factory spring to improve the trigger pull while maintaining factory Drop Safety Values.
A Trigger Pin Removal Punch is included with each kit to eliminate potential damage to the frame when removing the factory trigger.
The Firing Pin Spring and Hammer Spring replace the factory springs to improve the trigger pull (These springs must be installed with the kit).”
