T.REX Arms has released their new Medium Item Pouch.
T.REX Arms states “The T.REX Medium Item Pouch (MIP) is a multi-purpose pouch that will fit one AR-15/M4 magazine (STANAG/PMAG) and similarly sized items, such as smoke grenades or SMG magazines.
The pouch does not rely on MALICE clips, instead there are MOLLE webbing straps sewn onto the back so that you can install it on your gear as soon as you receive it.
We do recommend using MALICE clips if you are installing it on our Speed Belt, but the webbing straps are sufficient for any MOLLE platform.
The pouch is lined inside with loop field and is compatible with kydex inserts, such as the Esstac KYWI.
The pouch flap is fully adjustable or can be removed entirely to run the pouch slick or to use pull tab bungees on the built-in loops.”

- The loop-lined interior works with Esstac’s Mid or Tall 5.56 KYWI inserts. If you don’t bottom out the Mid height insert, you can align it to be flush with the top of the pouch, otherwise it will sit just below the top of the pouch. The Tall height insert needs trimmed to be flush with the top of the pouch, otherwise it will sit just above the top of the pouch. All of these options work—just use what you prefer.
