Taylor Freelance has debuted their latest offering is support of Canik with the new Canik 2.0 toolless, 30th anniversary basepad.
Taylor Freelance states “To commemorate our 30th, TF’s design team put our heads together to design what we felt was the best basepad we could make. Regardless of cost, we wanted it to be THE BEST.
It combines toolless on/off, super-grippy sides, a flat back (for rapid table starts), and is completely user-serviceable, right down to the smallest internal pin and spring. The locking system itself is self-lubricating brass, and the locking wedge is crazy strong.
Sharp-cornered, angular ribs down the sides create industry-leading traction. (For fumble-free mag changes.) That styling blends with the slide cuts on your Canik Mete, Rival, or Rival-S. They work so well that if you do manage to drop this – it’s not because it wasn’t “grippy” enough!
The 2.0s ship as a kit, including a $20 Rune Tactical +1 spring and follower as original equipment.
Best of all, they work with all the available Caniks except the MC9. (Shooters with older 2021-2023 Metes/Rivals might need an O-ring bumper.)”
