Geissele Automatics state “The Geissele Scope Cap Mount gives you the ability to mount a reflex/red-dot sight to your Geissele Super Precision Scope Mount for quick target acquisition and engagement, as well as easier passive aiming when using night vision devices.
Some users may also benefit from having an additional optic with an alternative zero based on ammunition selection.
Our Scope Cap Mounts are available in either a top-mounted (12:00) or 45-degree offset configuration.”
