Matador Arms has teamed up with KM3 Solutions to release the Montgo-9 pistol caliber carbine upper receiver in a .STEP file for 3d printing.

Matador Arms states “If you haven’t heard of KM3 Solutions LLC you soon will. The owner Kris Morris runs a cool shop with stippled frames, cerakote work, and custom parts.

What many people don’t know is that Kris also runs a design firm, and is one of the best engineers working in the firearms industry today!

He has been the engineering brain behind a slew of popular Firearms and Accessories that he can’t talk about as he’s bound by non-disclosure agreements.

The great news for us is that we have partnered with Kris on a bunch of new projects, but the first thing we asked him to do was to model a .step file of our Montgo-9™ upper receiver for those looking for a companion product to help design and 3-D print a 9mm or an AR-15 lower receiver.

We have long been fans of private gun making, and we truly believe it is a natural right of every lawful American to do so.

This is our first big project to support the ever growing 3-D printing community, and we promise it won’t end there.”
