Matador Arms has recently started rolling out their latest offering with the Montogo-9 monolithic upper receiver that is a 9mm pistol caliber carbine upper designed to function on the AR-15 and AR-9 pattern.
The AR-family of firearms in recent years has received massive support across the industry for new designs and methods of function.
Matador Arms Montgo-9 operates via blowback and does not require the use of the standard AR-15 pattern buffer extension system to cycle the bolt.
