Arisaka Defense has recently expanded on their weapon light offerings with the new Arisaka 18350 E2XTL light.
Arisaka Defense states “The Arisaka 18350 Series Light is a complete illumination package. Simply choose a head, tailcap/remote, and light mount from the drop down menus.
Included is the low profile 18350 Series Light Body for an unobstructed, close fit when using an Arisaka Inline, Offset, or Side Scout Mount.
Malkoff E2XTL – 500 lumens and 55,000 candela of white light provide a tightly concentrated beam for distance, with a small amount of spill for close range and peripheral lighting.
This head will illuminate targets at 100 meters better than the 1500 lumen M600DF because of the significantly higher candela. Run time is 45 minutes with one 18350 lithium-ion rechargeable.
Malkoff heads are fully potted to withstand recoil during weapon mounted use.
This head can also run off two CR123 cells, but would require switching to an 18650 length body.
The 18350 Series Light is compatible with all Scout tailcaps including the Surefire UE and DS, and will also fit in any aftermarket Scout mount, as it retains the mounting holes and square lug interface on the underside of the light body.”
