Springfield Armory has recently launched their latest offering in handguns with the new SA-35 which is patterned after the iconic Browning Hi Power pistol.

Springfield Armory states “From the 1911 to the M1A™, Springfield Armory has a long tradition of offering today’s shooters modern versions of classic firearm designs that take advantage of cutting-edge manufacturing techniques.

The new SA-35 carries on that tradition, offering an updated and enhanced version of a revered design developed by John Moses Browning nearly a century ago.”

KEY FEATURES:

RECONTOURED HAMMER
The Springfield Armory SA-35’s hammer features improved geometry to prevent the risk of “hammer bite” to the web of the hand.

EXTENDED THUMB SAFETY
A subtle but significant upgrade to the SA-35 design is the use of a modernized and extended thumb safety that is easier to engage.

MODERN SIGHT CONFIGURATION
The white dot front and Tactical Rack rear sights of the SA-35 offer users an enhanced sight picture for improved performance.

CHECKERED WALNUT GRIPS
Featuring attractive grain and finely cut checkering, the SA-35’s walnut grips complement the matte blue finish of the carbon steel.

BEVELED MAGWELL
A magwell has been machined into the frame of the SA-35 for effortless reloads.

FACTORY TUNED TRIGGER
While the P-35 had a reputation for a heavy trigger, the SA-35’s factory tuned trigger is cleaner, crisper and lighter due in part to the removal of the magazine disconnect in the original design.

MATTE BLUED FINISH
The SA-35 features an attractive matte blue finish on its carbon steel parts, contrasting nicely with the walnut grips.

HAMMER FORGED BARREL
Ensuring durability and strength, the SA-35 features a cold hammer forged barrel with an improved feed ramp design to function reliably with modern defensive ammunition.
