Savage Arms has recently announced their latest offering the Stevens 555 Trap shotgun.
Savage Arms states “Stevens has dovetailed performance and value in its new 555 Single Barrel Trap shotgun.
Its light aluminum receiver is scaled to gauge and incorporates a steel insert that reinforces the breech, minimizing weight and maximizing strength.
The fast handling 555 also features a Turkish walnut stock and fore end, shell extractor, and a tang mounted manual safety at a price that’s unmatched among comparable models.
Three interchangeable choke tubes allow the 555 Trap to meet any shooters needs.”

Is good for skeet as well
Very nice gun and priced well. Although shoots and handles beautifully the Turkish stock and lack of engraving was not on a par with the 555 Enhanced. For a little extra $ that would have been nice. Most trap guys like a little flair sitting on the rack at the local gun club.
