CMMG has announced their latest offering the 9 ARC magazines which is designed to allow one to shoot 9mm from a standard AR15 lower receiver when paired with CMMG’s radial delayed blowback upper receivers.

CMMG states “9 ARC Magazines allow you to pair your AR15 lower receiver with CMMG’s Radial Delayed Blowback operating system, which has quickly earned a reputation as the superior operating system for pistol caliber carbines (PCC’s). Unlike typical direct blowback systems, Radial Delayed Blowback uses a bolt that is forced to rotate and unlock before cycling. This delay allows CMMG to use a lighter buffer and carrier than a direct blowback, resulting in less felt recoil than the typical PCC.”
