The modern firearms market demands versatility, bridging the gap between affordable rimfire training platforms and robust centerfire sidearms. Expanding their footprint in the North American tactical and sporting market, Derya Arms has officially unveiled a dual-platform release: the TM22 Fresh rimfire rifle and the RANX semi-automatic pistol. Engineered to provide exceptional ergonomics, modular control layouts, and duty-ready reliability, this latest drop gives shooters a comprehensive pairing for both high-volume training and defensive sidearm carry.

Handling Dynamics and Practical Utility
In the field, the TM22 Fresh serves as an ideal training surrogate for modern sporting rifles. Because its manual of arms—including safety selectors, magazine releases, and charging handles—mirrors standard AR-15 ergonomics, shooters can log high-volume rimfire training repetitions without developing bad habits. The inclusion of an M-LOK handguard allows users to mount weapon lights, sling mounts, and bipods identical to their primary duty rifles.
Meanwhile, the RANX pistol steps into the defensive and duty role with confidence. During rapid target transitions and holster draw drills, the RANX’s undercut trigger guard and high-swept beaver tail allow for a high, secure grip that mitigates muzzle flip. The crisp striker-fired break and clear reset facilitate rapid follow-up shots, while the optics-ready slide interface ensures seamless transition to modern enclosed or open micro red dot sights.
Target Operator Professional Profile
This dual release is tailored for firearms instructors, recreational shooters, concealed carry permit holders, and tactical enthusiasts looking for affordable rifle marksmanship training paired with a modern, optics-ready 9mm defensive sidearm.
Competitive Market Landscape
While the rimfire rifle market is crowded with polymer-heavy plinkers, the aluminum-chassis construction of the TM22 Fresh offers superior rigidity. Simultaneously, the RANX pistol provides a feature-rich, optics-ready alternative to legacy polymer-framed handguns without sacrificing reliability.
Definitive Field Assessment
Derya Arms’ latest release demonstrates a keen understanding of shooter needs. By pairing the versatile, AR-mimicking TM22 Fresh rifle with the duty-capable RANX pistol, Derya delivers a well-rounded equipment drop for both the range and the holster.
