Langdon Tactical Technology has launched the LTT Mossberg 590, enhancing the renowned pump-action shotgun. Key improvements include a smoother action, an LTT Trigger Job reducing break weight, and a new sight system. It aims to refine the shootability and consistency, available in Standard and Shockwave configurations.
Langdon Tactical Technology (LTT), known for precision-driven firearm enhancements, is expanding its lineup with the introduction of the LTT Mossberg 590, bringing the company’s performance-focused approach to one of the most proven pump-action shotgun platforms.
The Mossberg 590 has earned its reputation as a proven defensive platform. LTT started there and focused on the areas that matter when it comes time to run the gun: a smoother action, better trigger, improved sighting system, recoil management, and overall shootability.
“We didn’t set out to reinvent the pump shotgun. We wanted to take a proven platform and refine the areas that make a meaningful difference to the shooter,” said Mitchell Booth, Product Development Manager of Langdon Tactical Technology. “Everything we’ve done to the 590 is focused on making the gun easier to run, easier to shoot well, and more consistent.”
The LTT Mossberg 590 features an Action Job with strategically polished and NP3-coated internals, along with an LTT Trigger Job that brings the break weight down to approximately 4.5 pounds from the factory 6.5–7 pounds.
LTT also adds its Fastback Mount and new Adjustable Super Duty Shotgun Sight, with RMR, ACRO, and 509T optic footprints available. Magpul furniture and the Labyrinth Heat Shield improve handling and provide integrated weapon-light wire and switch management, while a lengthened forcing cone is designed to improve shot patterning and reduce perceived recoil.
The LTT Mossberg 590 will be available in 18.5-inch Standard and 14.375-inch Shockwave configurations.
