Trijicon has introduced the RTR™ Rapid Target Reticle for select ACOG® Compact models based on user feedback. The enhanced reticles feature larger center-dot sizes and battery-free illumination, supporting quick target acquisition. New configurations accommodate .223 and 9mm PCC users with effective bullet-drop compensation and range-finding capabilities, ensuring reliable performance.
Trijicon® Inc., the global provider of innovative aiming solutions for the hunting, shooting, military and law enforcement markets, is proud to announce new enhanced RTR™ (Rapid Target Reticle) options for select ACOG® Compact models.
Developed through Trijicon’s Voice of the Customer process, the enhanced reticles incorporate direct feedback from users in the field. New configurations include RTR .223 and RTR 9mm PCC reticles with red or green battery-free tritium and fiber-optic illumination for Trijicon 1.5×16 and 2×20 ACOG Compact models.
The new reticles feature an increased center-dot size from 2.0 MOA to 3.25 MOA, providing a faster aiming solution and quicker target acquisition. Both the center dot and horseshoe are illuminated by Trijicon’s proven battery-free tritium and fiber-optic technology, supporting rapid, both-eyes-open shooting in a variety of lighting conditions.
The RTR .223 reticle features bullet-drop compensation holds to 700 yards, crosswind holds and 19-inch stadia lines for ranging. The RTR 9mm PCC reticle is designed for today’s popular pistol-caliber carbines and includes BDC holds to 300 yards for common 115-grain supersonic and 147-grain subsonic loads fired from an 8-inch barrel, along with 19-inch stadia lines for ranging.
Select ACOG Compact models are available with Trijicon Q-LOC™ Technology mounts. This patented quick-release mounting system uses proprietary recoil lugs for secure rail engagement and repeatable zero. Heavy-duty springs and a compact adjustment knob allow convenient one-handed installation and removal while minimizing the risk of gear snags. Q-LOC mounts are manufactured in the United States from 6061-T6 aluminum.
More than one million ACOG optics have been produced, earning a reputation for legendary, battle-proven durability and reliability. The ACOG Compact delivers that same rugged performance in a smaller, lightweight package with generous eye relief, making it well suited for a wide variety of firearm platforms.
