Springfield Armory has introduced three new Model 2020 Waypoint rifles featuring SG-100 Cerakote coatings for enhanced grip. Available in .308 Win., 7mm PRC, and .300 Win. Mag., these precision rifles offer custom-grade performance with a .75 MOA accuracy guarantee, priced at $1,995 each.
Springfield Armory® is proud to announce the addition of three new Model 2020 Waypoint rifles, featuring an SG-100 Cerakote® finish on their stocks. Precision manufactured in the United States, these rifles are built to deliver the accuracy and performance expected from a custom-grade rifle.
Available in both short- and long-action variants in .308 Win., 7mm PRC or .300 Win. Mag., these three Model 2020 Waypoint variants take on a distinctive configuration with an SG-100 Cerakote® finish applied to a bead-blasted carbon fiber stock from AG Composites. This nonslip, ceramic coating — dubbed “Super-Grip®” by Cerakote — provides a tactile, rubberized texture for enhanced grip.
The fluted 416 stainless steel barrel — topped off with an SA Radial Brake on the threaded muzzle — and the stainless steel action both feature a black H-164 Cerakote finish. The action itself features an integral recoil lug and is machined from pre-hardened stainless steel with EDM cut raceways. The fluted bolt can be disassembled without tools and employs dual cocking cams.
Each Model 2020 Waypoint combines advanced design and state-of-the-art materials to deliver the accuracy and performance expected from a custom-grade rifle. Springfield Armory backs that performance with a rock-solid .75 MOA accuracy guarantee for three shots with match grade ammunition and a skilled shooter. The .308 Win. rifle features a 20″ barrel, while the 7mm PRC and .300 Win. Mag. versions sport 24″ barrels. MSRP for each of the new SG-100-coated variants is $1,995.
